You can manage your connections from the Inventory page. By default, your connections are grouped together in a multiple-card layout. An individual card highlights the connection information and serves as an access point for any additional details pertaining to that specific connection. To view connection details, just click the card.
Tip: Depending on your number of connections, you might find it helpful to use the filter options to quickly narrow the search results.
From the inventory card collection, click the connection card you want to view in greater detail. By default, you see the connection overview and activity log details below the card collection.
Note: Icons appear in the top right corner of a connection card. You can hover over an icon for the tooltip. For example, if you see a house icon, hovering over the icon shows that the card represents a CSP-side connection. If any action is required, another icon displays in the top right corner of the connection card. Hover over the icon for more information. The connection status in the “Connection Overview” section and icon reflect the same states.
To the right of the connection card, there are two more cards illustrating the assigned port (origin) and customer (destination). You can also select the port card to expand its details.
Note: If there is an outage from the Service Provider side, the Service Provider is responsible for contacting the affected customer.
If there is an outage form the Equinix side, we will contact the email listed in the account information.
