From the “My Company” page, you can expand a service profile to view or edit the details.
From the service profile card collection, navigate to the service profile you want, and click the View/Edit button. The service profile details display.
The service profile details are presented in blocks based upon the original selections made when you created the profile. When you want to make changes, select the Edit link in the block. Make the necessary modifications and save your changes.
Any changes you make to the service profile impacts future—not existing—remote connections (RCs) provisioned. ECX Fabric™ preserves all existing RCs provisioned to your service profile with the original parameters prior to any changes made.
Note: As a CSP, you need to consider how revisions affect customers, especially if your service profile changes after it has been in operation for some time. Unlike service profile creation, service revisions do not go through the Equinix approval process. Subsequently, you need to provide migration or upgrade plans for features—such as RC speeds—which have been removed, changed or added.
As a CSP, prior to any changes or deletions, you are responsible for any impact on existing RCs created by customers to your service profile, and for contacting customers to migrate or terminate their existing RCs prior to any changes or deletions.
